webuyanycar Launched in Wilkes Barre
Jul 28, 2011
PHILADELPHIA (June 30, 2011) — webuyanycar.com (WBAC), a sensible, hassle-free alternative for people trying to sell their cars privately, announces the opening of a branch in Wilkes-Barre PA at 233 Spring St.
WBAC is a division of a 60-year-old family-owned automobile business based in the United Kingdom,
"The concept for webuyanycar.com has been so successful with car owners in the UK, we decided to expand to the U.S.," said Chris Adams, chief operating officer for Car Group Holdings, LLC, the parent company of WBAC. "We make the process of selling a car easy, fast, safe and hassle-free."
Here's how WBAC works: Prospective used-car sellers log on to webuyanycar.com and provide basic information about the car. An online quote is received almost immediately that includes the amount WBAC will pay for the car and directions to the closest branch. When the seller arrives at the branch, the car is inspected, and if the information provided by the seller is confirmed, a check is issued on the spot. If a balance is owed on the car, WBAC can pay off the loan.
In addition to Wilkes-Barre, WBAC has five branch locations in the Philadelphia area, plus branches in Reading; Pittsburgh; Vineland, NJ; Baltimore; and Washington, D.C. Today there are more than 20 branch locations in the Mid-Atlantic region, with more opening across the country.
"Every day people call us to say how easy and painless it was to sell their car to webuyanycar.com," said Adams. "We've taken the anxiety-filled ordeal of selling a car and turned it into a quick, fair and painless process."
